Shanghai Light Festival opening time
The first Shanghai International Light and Shadow Festival in 2024 will be held from September 19 to October 18.
There are cool light and shadow art installations in many landmark places, inviting visitors to be light chaser and play games with light and shadow!
During the Light Festival, 100 theme activities will be organized, and 100 night view clock points will be recommended, which will be closely linked with the Shanghai Summer International consumption season and Shanghai Tourism Festival, and help the integrated development of industries such as "Business Travel and Sports Exhibition".
Recently, the office of the organizing committee of the first Shanghai Light and Shadow Festival has revealed the events of Jing 'an, Pudong, Xuhui and other sub-venues.
1. Jing 'an District venue
Gong Energy Zone on West Nanjing Road and Suhewan Functional Zone will be the two major light and shadow exhibition areas in- Jing 'an District. Citizens can enjoy the light and shadow works of artists from many countries around the world, and follow the- light and shadow map as "light chaser", participate in interactive games, and experience the integration of science and technology- and art.
Walking along the Lujiazui Skywalk, visitors can experience the "Ring of Light" art light painting and streamer walk, "Flower Land" light and shadow art installation, "Shadow Dance" interactive art light and shadow, "Music Spectrum" light and shadow art- installation, "Dream stage" art and light, and enjoy the colorful lighting art world.
The "Light Fusion Future" ceremony in the Expo area brings together the water dance feast in the Celebration Square, the- architectural light and shadow wonder of the Mercedes-Benz Cultural Center and the light and shadow show in the Sunshine Valley, presenting a visual feast in turn.
Superbrand Square will hold the "human dream weaving" theme activities, citizens and visitors can experience the "Vientiane of- light" media facade show, feel the "dream core" shock under the urban night scene, and have a "fantasy room" interactive- exhibition space.
Shipyard 1862 performed the "City of Light" new media show, "Butterfly Change" new media show, and held the theme of the light- and shadow market.
In addition, there will also be interactive lighting installations and performances at Forebeach Taikoo Li, Forebeach Park Lane and- Florence Town.
The event will be held from October 1 to 18, the Binjiang area West Bund Dream Center to the north to the Oil Tank Art Center as the main exhibition area, Longhua Square, Xujiahui business district, Hengfu Shangyin Block and other points as sub-exhibition areas.
The concrete warehouse of Dream Center will stage a large-scale projection show: "Amplifier of Dreams", which is an international light and shadow art festival created by global trend artists.
Tank Art Center will stage a projection show: "Jiangnan Vientiane", a video creation introducing Chinese landscape IP. With the facade of the oil tank building as the canvas, the whole field is filled in an instant, and the landscape show with intertwined light and shadow immediately arouses the audience's yearning for light and shadow and art.
5. Yangpu Branch venue
The event will be held from September 29 to October 6 in the southern section of Yangpu Binjiang (Fisherman's Wharf - Yangpu Bridge), Wujiaochang Business District, etc., to show the transformation of Yangpu from century-old industrial rust to century-old life show belt through light and shadow.
Putuo Venue activities are planned to be held from September 30 to October 7, around the "semi-Masu River" waterfront, to create a light and shadow experience with cruise ship as the highlight and "water + land" linkage. Banmasu River Park, M50 Creative Park, Global Harbor and Haina Park will be the four nodes of the Putuo District sub-venue, corresponding to the four themes of "sailing", "riding the wind", "following the trend" and "toward the sea" respectively.
